More Catching Up

Well, the weather has been getting warmer here and I am starting to get nervous about the upcoming HEAT of the Summer. I am hoping we don't reget our decision of moving here :)
We went to Disney a couple of times over the past few weeks. The kids were GREAT and they both had a BLAST! We can't wait to go back already!!!
Kid Updates
Kole continues to be obsessed with Thomas and pretty much ALL trains. Auntie Rae made the "mistake" of telling Kole she bought him a train and sent it to him in the mail. Ever since, he's been telling me that Auntie Rae is going to buy him more trains and he goes in to detail with what train he wants. Then out of the blue he was telling me that Uncle Jay was going to buy him (specific) trains. What? I have no idea where he's getting this from. Tonight, Grammy told him on the phone she was going to buy him a train. Well, at least Auntie Rae and Uncle Jay are off the hook now b/c that's all I heard the rest of the night (and chances are, first thing in the morning); "Grammy buy train!" "Grammy buy Gordon train!" Great. He's talking up a storm and singing songs too. He says the "ABC's" but mumbles the letters. He knows "Twinkle Twinkle" and sings that at the top of his lungs. He has been requesting Thomas songs from me just lately; uh, I don't know how they go so he's out of luck. We found the "song" he wanted online and he was singing along. Kole LOVES his crafts too! Gluing is his favorite but he figured out how to string beads on a pipe cleaner tonight and he was in heaven! He kept saying he was making a train track bead. Naturally.... Oh, one more quick thing: I took him for a hair cut today and found a barber shop down the road a mile or so. We go in and it's a very small shop with about 3 OLD guys sitting around chatting eachother. The guy walks us over to the chair and mentions turning the train on. I look over and there is a HUGE (probably 8 feet by 4 feet) display of a town with a train running through it. This is the type of train "set" that is VERY expensive, set up with extreme care, and treasured by an ADULT (NOT for kids). Has a fancy remote that has a whistle button, a steam button, etc... Kole is in LOVE and is SO excited to get his hair cut. I think we found our regular barber shop for Kole... :)
Sydney is the sweetest little girl I've ever seen! She is constantly smiling and she has a very "fun" personality. She loves it when Kole gives her attention and even likes it when he gets "rough". Kole and Seth were rough-housing the other night and she was right next to them screeching along with both of them! She tends to sing along with Kole when he sings, it's so cute. I do think though that Buttercup knows she has us wrapped around her finger. Just lately she gets this look on her face when she KNOWS she should be eating her bottle or sleeping. She giggles and gives you the "look". Oh geesh, we are in TROUBLE with that one. Sydney gets SO excited when Seth walks in the room, she just lights up!! She has her wave down pat as well, she thinks she's Miss America! She sat in front of the large mirrors the other day for at least 20 minutes, waving, squealing, and "playing" with the little girl in the mirror, it was so cute!! She's not crawling yet but she moves her legs and her arms to get around the floor, just not in the crawling position so much. She has a new toy, an activity table. She likes to stand at that with help of course. She thinks she's pretty darn cool when she stands up. I think she's growing but according to the way her clothes fit, she's not doing it very fast. She is wearing mostly 6 month clothes but she still fits in her 3 month carter's onesies (she wore one today and it fit perfect). I did have to buy her new jammies though b/c she must be growing longer since they were tight in the length. Her hair is growing but she constantly yanks her hair bows out. I might have to get some pony holders since her hair is starting to get in her eyes lately. Her first birthday is just around the corner and her mommy is already planning her birthday extravaganza!!
Seth (yes, he's a kid) is working hard every week. He's been out of town a bit lately and in a couple of weeks he'll be gone for 5 nights in a row! He has meetings in Miami then he's heading down to the Keys to do some fishing with a co-worker. Nice. I can't WAIT to cash in my vacation time when I'm ready. I'm going somewhere that I can relax with an adult beverage in my hand :)
Me: I joined a MOPS group here in town and I have been to two meetings and one playdate. Nice ladies but far too early to see if I'll make good friends with anyone. It's just nice to be able to have good conversation with women like me while our children are being taken care of by someone else in another room :)
That's all she wrote.....I'll be sure to update everyone if anything major happens (like if our house sells...). Enjoy the pics and vids!!!
